General information
In a world that is growing ever closer, where organisations are becoming bigger and more multinational, it is increasingly difficult and important for organisations to communicate effectively with all of their stakeholders. Technology only increases these challenges. Organisations have an ever-increasing demand for people who not only understand this but can also devise policy and manage communication.

Course Content
As communications is a broad field, the programme is highly varied. You delve into the intrinsic and practical side of the profession. You learn how to write communication plans, edit newsletters, draft corporate texts and transform complicated proposals into accessible texts. You will also learn how to steer designers and advertising agencies, generate briefings and provide communications advice. Moreover, you will learn how to deal with journalists.

During the programme, we will teach you how different types of communication resources are created. You develop extra feelers for what is going on inside and outside an organisation.

During the study you will cover the key areas of communication management:

- Internal Communication
- Marketing Communication
- Corporate Communication.

Career prospects
With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication you can work almost anywhere. As a public-relations officer, policy adviser, account manager, communication adviser or project co-ordinator for small or for large companies, with the government, with communication agencies or as a freelancer. In small organisations you are often an all-rounder, whereas in large organisations you will often be a specialist in areas such as internal communication, external communication, press or public communication or marketing communication.
