The programme features a study abroad component in conjunction with JAMK’s partner universities in the United States, Estonia, The United Kingdom, Canada and the Netherlands. Students also have the option of earning a double degree with JAMK’s Dutch partner: InHolland University of Applied Sciences
Graduates of this programme will be able to identify various opportunities to combine managerial qualities with the empathy for artists and the creative industries. They will understand the various concepts related to the management activities and styles needed in organisations. They will also develop their knowledge of the opportunities for implementation and promotion within the music and media industries.
Also at the core of our programme is the study of Intellectual Property Rights, project management and entrepreneurship.
In addition, students will have an overall perspective of international business frameworks and management. The programme applies general business and management concepts to the reality of multicultural business environments in the entertainment industries. The routine strategic decisions in marketing, business economics and managerial processes become conscious and subtle.
